Approach to social impacts

Sunly believes that the key in achieving our mission is transparent communication & close cooperation with our stakeholders & communities. For example, 94% of Sunly’s wind farm projects are joint ventures developed together with landowners. Sunly encourages landowners to become investors in wind farms in exchange for providing their land for project development.  

Supporting education and policymaking, we are active in working groups, shaping the renewable and electricity markets in the Baltics. 

Sunly is a founding member of the first Energy cooperative. At the end of 2021, the cooperative had 78 members and was analysing 14 renewable energy projects.
