What does the battery do?
If you have a solar park and a producer connection with the grid company, the electricity produced during the day is stored and used later:

for your own consumption (avoiding high electricity prices and grid fees)
for selling to the electricity market at a higher price
for participating in the frequency market (additional option together with the management service)

The frequency market (primary mFFR) is a system where batteries help balance the grid when there is a surplus or deficit in the grid. If desired, we can connect the battery park to the frequency market, which opens up the opportunity to earn additional income.
Participating in the frequency market requires at least 1 MW of storage capacity. If your planned battery park is smaller, the aggregator service comes to the rescue - we pool smaller batteries into a shared capacity and manage participation on your behalf.
