Sunly expands its solar power in Poland

Renewable energy company Sunly has signed contracts to expand its solar power business in Poland. Nine solar plant projects were bought by Sunly with a total capacity of 9 MW, most of them located in the West of Poland, close to the German border.

Tadas Navickas, Sunly’s country manager in Lithuania and Poland, said that the company is expanding in a fast phase. “We bought seven Polish solar farms projects in the beginning of June, which are currently under construction. Now we have acquired nine more and we are continually looking for new solar energy projects to invest in,” Navickas said.

According to Priit Lepasepp, the CEO at Sunly, the Polish renewable energy market is very inviting for new investors. “We have an experienced team together with investors who contribute to green energy. So, we are happy to invest more into renewable projects in Poland,” Lepasepp commented and added that Sunly looks into both greenfield and mature renewable energy projects.
